Food was good, massive portion of chips. Fries had a slight crisp edge and the inside was soft but had a bit of a bite. The fish haddock had a nice flavour to it and was nice and flakey. The outer batter had a nice golden color and crisp however the inner layer of the batter was a touch too wet and soggy, not sure if it was from the batter or the fish. But it was still good, more of a texture thing but flavour is still good. Great pricing especially for the area.
Came here with my friends for dinner and we were all so impressed! Their fish and chips are amazing — not oily at all. When we finished eating, the plate was literally clean with no oil stains. The fish is meaty, flaky, and tastes super fresh, and the batter is light and not too thick. Their tartar sauce is nice a thick kind of like a spread texture. The prices are very reasonable, and the fries might be some of the best I’ve had — thick-cut, made with real potatoes, and perfectly cooked. We also tried their burgers, and they were delicious. The brioche bun is soft, and the fried cod inside was chef’s kiss. Their smash burger is really nice as well. The patty doesn’t taste dry.
Great spot for fish and chips! Super crispy batter, fresh fish, and generous portions. We also tried their burgers and were pleasantly surprised; juicy, well-seasoned, and definitely worth adding to your order. Friendly service and fair prices. Would happily come back!
Wow! Hidden Gem 💎! You gotta eat here. All you can eat fish and chips with all the refillable fixings like coleslaw, lemon wedge, and homemade tartar sauce for $17.50. Not only is it great value, but the food tasted high quality too. The coleslaw was fresh and light with crispy sweet cabbage and the tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever had. The fries are super fresh and the portion is huge. The service was great and they really do give you as many pieces of fish as you can eat once you finish each serving. It’s literally a gourmet fish and chip meal for just $17.50 but bottomless. The table has condiments like white and malt vinegar and ketchup. The service was outstanding and welcoming.
